Winter Wizards League Recap: A Snowy Adventure

Winter Wizards League Recap: A Snowy Adventure

Sawyer Bracy

Yesterday's Winter Wizards league was nothing short of magical here in Billings, MT. With about 8 inches of fresh snow blanketing the Winter Course at Pioneer Park—and still coming down—we braved the elements for another unforgettable round. Temperatures hovered around 20 degrees, and a slight wind added just enough challenge to make every throw an adventure.

But this league isn’t about chasing the lowest score or proving who can conquer the course. It’s about embracing the joy of the game, no matter the conditions. There’s something special about playing in the snow with friends who share your passion for disc golf. The laughter, the camaraderie, and the unique challenge of snowy fairways remind us why we do this every week.

Winter Wizards is more than just a league—it’s a celebration of our local disc golf community and our shared love for the game. So whether you’re out here battling the snow or dreaming of your next round, remember: it’s always about the fun, the friends, and the love of disc golf.

See you next week, Wizards! 🥏❄️
